The hope that the tourism movement that started during the Easter holidays will continue so that this year 2022 will be better than the last, was expressed on Tuesday by the Director-General of the Cyprus Hotels Association, Philokypros Roussounides, CNA reports.
According to data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), tourism revenue in 2021 came to €1,513.6 million, compared with just €392 million in 2020 and €2,683 million in 2019, a record year.
