Wyndham and HR Group expand into Germany, Austria and the Netherlands

With Europe set to host the world’s largest number of international tourists, with over 747 million arrivals in 2024 (Statista, January 2025), Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is paving the way for even more European openings with the debut of 25 urban hotels.

The hotels that have emerged through Wyndham’s partnership with HR Group are part of the Trademark Collection® and Vienna House Easy® brands, offering guests more destinations to explore in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.

Mr. Dimitris Manikis, President, Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said:

“Europe is experiencing a remarkable travel renaissance, with record numbers of guests exploring its cities and landscapes, attending events, and traveling for business. These hotels combine comfort, convenience, technology, and a local touch, ensuring that travelers have an unforgettable experience. In partnership with HR Group, these new hotels are the next step in strengthening our presence in key markets, offering even more choice to guests in vibrant urban destinations.”

Ideal for travelers exploring the bustling city centers of Germany, the Alpine towns of Austria, or the canals of Amsterdam, each of the new hotels offers a combination of convenience and comfort, while reflecting its unique environment. Acting as ‘bases’, the hotels lead guests to exceptional points of interest.

For example, travelers can visit the St?del Museum’s exhibitions from the Centro National Frankfurt, Mozart’s birthplace from the Fourside Hotel Salzburg—both part of the Trademark Collection® brand—or enjoy the smart, casual convenience of Vienna House Easy Amsterdam, which is ideal for staying close to the airport. With ideal locations near key transportation links, each hotel offers easy access to business districts, cultural landmarks, and entertainment venues.

Ruslan Husry, President and CEO, of HR Group, said: “The addition of these exceptional hotels to Wyndham’s internationally recognized Trademark Collection® and Vienna House Easy® brands is a significant milestone. These additions position us to better serve travelers exploring the major gateway cities of Germany and beyond while strengthening our presence in the European travel market. Combining Wyndham’s global reach, advanced technology, and renowned rewards program with HR Group’s local expertise and extensive operational experience, these hotels will deliver seamless travel experiences for both business and leisure travelers.”

As part of the expansion, 8 of the 25 new hotels have joined Wyndham’s Vienna House Easy® brand, offering a fresh identity and a more accessible experience for travelers, while all remaining locations join the Trademark Collection®.

The new additions follow HR Group’s acquisition of hotels operated by Centro Holding and Centro Hotel Management in 2024.

Trademark Collection® and Vienna House Easy by Wyndham® hotels participate in Wyndham Rewards®, the leading hotel rewards program according to readers of USA Today and U.S. News & World Report. With more than 60,000 hotels, vacation resorts, and vacation rentals worldwide, no other hotel loyalty program is more generous or offers more places to stay.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world’s largest hotel franchising company by number of properties, with approximately 9,200 hotels with 893,000 rooms in more than 95 countries on 6 continents. The company manages a portfolio of 25 hotel brands, including Dolce®, Super 8®, Days Inn®, Ramada®, Microtel®, La Quinta®, Baymont®, Wingate®, AmericInn®, Hawthorn Suites®, Trademark Collection® and Wyndham®.
