Rhodes: New quality survey for the destination by the Association of Hotel Managers and ACT

The Association of Hotel Managers of Rhodes, in collaboration with ACT – American College of Thessaloniki, a member of Anatolia College, is proceeding with a new survey aimed at measuring the quality of services provided in Rhodes and capturing the experience of visitors to the island.

This new initiative, which starts in the coming days, comes as a continuation of previous similar actions of the Association, which in the past have provided valuable data for the image of the destination through the eyes of tourists. The survey focuses on collecting responses directly from visitors to Rhodes, with the aim of recording their degree of satisfaction with various services, both within the hotels and overall in the destination.

The questionnaires will be available in three languages ??and in electronic format. They will be distributed to hotels, tourist shops, tourist offices, information points of the Municipality, as well as to tourism professionals, in order to ensure broad participation of visitors.

Main objective: upgrading the tourist product of Rhodes

As emphasized by the organizers, the purpose of the survey is to extract qualitative and quantitative data that will contribute to the further upgrading of the island’s tourist product. Through the visitors’ responses, issues such as satisfaction with hotel services, service in tourist infrastructure, quality of catering services, cleanliness, safety, as well as the overall hospitality experience will be analyzed.

At the same time, the survey will provide useful economic data and demographic characteristics of visitors, enhancing the knowledge of professionals and organizations regarding the public that chooses Rhodes for their holidays.

Collective effort for quality in tourism

The Rhodes Hotel Managers Association calls on all local and institutional tourism bodies to support the effort, emphasizing that the success of the research depends largely on the cooperation and participation of all those involved.

As noted, “the support of tourism professionals and bodies is essential for the success of this important initiative. The results of the research will be a useful tool for everyone, contributing to the qualitative upgrade of the services provided and to maintaining Rhodes as a competitive and quality tourist destination”.

This initiative is part of a broader framework of actions that aim to strengthen the image and sustainability of tourism in Rhodes, through documented data and a scientific approach.
