The radical renovation of the hotel Tryp by Wyndham Lisboa Caparica Mar, Portugal, has been completed.
His new style and overall feel draw inspiration from the refurbished Tryp by Wyndham design standards and his basic motto “Powered by the City”, that is, inspired by urban dynamism. The use of blue, white and warm wood shades creates a modern and comfortable atmosphere, inspired by connecting the hotel to the sea and nature.
The principles of sustainability also shaped the design, with the aim of reducing energy and water consumption, which led to Wyndham’s Green Key certification. The hotel installed LED lighting throughout, improved thermal comfort in meeting rooms, renewed basic equipment, such as air conditioning and hot water systems, and chose materials inspired by the surrounding nature, emphasizing naval themes.
Important points of renovation
The lobby and reception area was completely refreshed, with a separate and attractive design. Upon arrival, visitors see an impressive dark roof that contradicts bright floors and walls, creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere. Lighting is at the heart of the new design, with impressive roof spots, aesthetically warm, enlightened reception and low, gentle lobbying in the lobby, which make up a calm and social environment.
The gastronomic experience in Paparica and Horizonte restaurants was upgraded, making each meal look like a special occasion. The refreshed color scheme with Navy touches and the new furniture give a sense of elegance and tranquility, harmonized with the hotel’s seaside location. The Horizonte restaurant continues to provide a sophisticated tasting experience, with an emphasis on local ingredients and authentic Portuguese cuisine, curated by chef Lu?s Rom?o and his talented team.
With 354 renovated rooms, Tryp by Wyndham Lisboa Caparica Mar offers an ideal combination of comfort and style, creating hospitable spaces that offer refreshing experience by the sea. The renovation focused on enhancing brightness, spaciousness and functionality, with improved materials and careful details that raised the level of quality. Whether traveling with friends or alone, guests find rooms that meet their needs, including sofa -bed options and bunk.
The Sky Bar on the 8th floor and the outdoor pool now have extensive pergolas, offering shading and a relaxing space for visitors, which is an ideal addition to the hot Portuguese summer. Particular reference is worth the reopening of the Sky Bar, now in collaboration with Aperol, adding a fresh air to the already impressive rooftop with panoramic ocean views.
The public spaces throughout the hotel have been converted into flexible public zones that are adapted smoothly throughout the day, ensuring the best possible use of every space. Whether it is relaxation, work or meeting with friends, visitors will find the right place for their needs.
