M?venpick has announced the opening of its first hotel in Greece: the M?venpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota, marking the first international resort in the region of Epirus.
The hotel is located in Sivota, in the region of Thesprotia, a destination known for its turquoise waters and authentic Greek landscape. It is a resort featuring 72 rooms and suites – many with private pools and sun-drenched terraces – designed to offer an exclusive relaxation experience in full harmony with the area’s natural environment.

M?venpick’s entry into the Greek market is a milestone both for the brand and for Epirus, which until now had no presence of high-standard international resorts.
Commenting on this new addition, Alan O’Dea, Senior Vice President Operations Premium Europe & North Africa at Accor, stated, “Greece remains one of the most inspiring and strategically important markets for Accor. With its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, it offers the ideal setting for brands that promote authenticity, sustainability, and meaningful experiences.”
The M?venpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota aims to do exactly that: blend elevated yet accessible luxury with immersive experiences. Hospitality is centered around reconnecting with oneself, nature, and others, offering yoga classes at sunrise, relaxation in specially designed adult or family pool areas, and moments of enjoyment by the sea.

Gastronomy plays a key role, bearing M?venpick’s signature touch. At Anatoli Restaurant, guests enjoy Greek and Mediterranean flavors with views of Agios Nikolaos island. The Island Pool Bar & Restaurant and Skipper Beach Bar offer all-day options, cocktails, and snacks, with a strong emphasis on local products and authentic ingredients. Additionally, M?venpick’s signature Chocolate Hour adds a daily sweet note, enriching the guest experience.
The opening of M?venpick in Sivota is not only an investment initiative but also a strategic move on the Greek tourism map. Backed by Accor, which already operates 11 hotels in key Greek destinations such as Athens, Crete, Rhodes, and Corfu, this new resort marks the group’s expansion into northwestern Greece.
At the same time, it is part of M?venpick’s broader expansion plan into select European markets, following recent openings in Belgium and Azerbaijan, and upcoming launches in Italy (Bari, Mondello) and Montenegro (Kotor).
