The historic hotel in Eretria, “Holiday’s in Evia”, is entering a new phase, which, according to exclusive information from tornosnews.gr, has been managed by the company HotelBrain. At the same time, a franchise agreement has been signed with the international hotel chain Radisson since last year, under which the unit will operate under the name Radisson Resort Eretria.
The hotel, which began operation in 1969, has 357 rooms and suites, restaurants, bars, a wellness center (spa) and building infrastructure that meet the standards of a five-star hotel. For decades, it has been a point of reference for the wider region of Evia.
The hotel passed into the hands of French businessman Jean-Jacque Olias De Los Ramos years ago, who initially acquired the unit’s debt from a credit institution and then proceeded to acquire the shares from the Veneris family, who were the original owners of the business.
It was renamed O Paradise Beach Resort & Spa and underwent an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation of almost all of the facilities, while the owner was looking for a company to take over the operational management for the past year. According to the same information, the choice ended with HotelBrain, which now assumes responsibility for the operation of the unit.
This addition increases the number of hotels managed by the company in the area, as it already has a presence with the Palmariva Beach Hotel, Petit Village Hotel, Elion Resort & Spa in Eretria and the Stefania Beach Resort and Evia Riviera Resort in Amarynthos.
The hotel is expected to start operating in the next tourist season.
