With the common goal of supporting the student community and strengthening the social fabric of Santorini, the Santorini Hoteliers Association and the Thira Parents’ Association have reached an agreement to further develop their cooperation.
The agreement was formalized at a recent meeting with the participation of the presidents and members of the Boards of Directors of the two organizations. The Parents’ Association expressed its gratitude to the Hoteliers Association for the practical support provided to date, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of the new joint initiatives that are underway.
For their part, the hoteliers, in the context of their social contribution, proposed the further deepening of the cooperation, a proposal that was accepted with great satisfaction. The actions will concern culture, education and social cohesion, with the main focus on supporting the children of Thira.
The presidents of the two Associations, Antonis Pagonis and Dimitris Toulis, underlined that this cooperation constitutes a strategic investment in the future of the new generation and an important step in supporting the local community.
As was characteristically stated, “with a common vision and willingness to contribute”, the two sides are committed to continuing to support every initiative that strengthens education, promotes culture and strengthens the social fabric of Santorini.
