How to boost your hotel marketing with small moves (10+1 ideas) – Mini Guide

By Dimitris Nikolakakis of loguers

You have a hotel, but no time. And yet, with a few little tricks you can see your marketing perform better without getting involved in complicated procedures.
Let’s look together at 10+1 simple things that you can implement starting… tomorrow!

1. A website that sells itself
Your website is the “showcase” of your hotel. Small changes work wonders:

Put a “Book Now” button in a prominent place.
Keep photos large and bright.
Write short texts (no one reads sheets).

An easy-to-use site with direct booking can bring more direct bookings without commissions.
2. Custom Mini-Bar Pack
When booking from your site, give guests the option to choose a premium mini-bar pack (e.g. local snacks + wine). It’s a small cost for you, but it creates a “tailor-made” experience. Also, a very good trick for family hotels is to have a custom children’s menu in the mini-bar.

3. Gift with your hotel’s signature
Make a travel tag with the hotel logo and give it as a souvenir. A small gesture, but they will remember you every time they pack their suitcase.

4. Photo Memories under water
Offer an underwater camera at the reception. The guest takes moments, and when leaving, he gets a USB stick with your logo and his photos.
Unique experience = free advertising = storytelling.

Early check-in, late check-out, welcome drink. The guest feels extra pampered, you earn extra income.

6. Show Local Love
Put local products in the welcome or in the mini-bar. Collaborate with producers or activities in the area for “Accommodation + Experience” packages.

7. Website & Social Media Glow-Up
Clear photos, nice call-to-action (“Book now”). Write in simple words your advantages (view, free parking, pool). Small details make a big difference.

8. Testimonials & Stories from guests
Ask guests to send or upload their photos. Repost and fill the feed with authentic content.

9. Email Marketing without a headache
After check-out, send a simple “We hope to see you again! Here’s an offer for next time.” Small move, big result.

10. Micro-Influencers in moderation
Forget thousands of euros. A small local influencer with 5–10k followers can bring better results at less cost.

11. Gourmet Restaurant with a Loyalty Twist
If you have a restaurant in your hotel, make it a destination for locals too. A well-crafted menu with local products can bring in people from outside and create a reputation in the area.

Add a loyalty bonus:

A free bottle of good wine, or
A discount on a night’s stay (if available).

This way you create a luxury experience and let people talk about you.

? Of course, Digital Marketing through Ads and customer reviews are essential parts of a hotel’s strategy. We haven’t omitted them; we’re just leaving them out of this article so we can analyze them more thoroughly with you. Contact the Loguers team to build together the strategy that suits your own property.

The secret is not to do everything or do difficult things. It is good to start with one or two small steps that suit your hotel. Every move that improves the customer experience is also marketing. With small, smart moves you can make your customers say “there, I want to go again” or “here, I want to come again”.
And this is the most powerful marketing of all.
