The new tourism investment in Oia, the five-star Santorini Secret Dawn, is now officially entering the full-operational stage, as it was announced that the Ministry of Development has finalized the cost and certified the production operation, closing a cycle that began with the project’s inclusion in the development law 4399.
The investment concerns the establishment of a high-standard unit, with a capacity of 18 rooms and 46 beds, with a total eligible cost of 1,994,799.33 euros and a subsidized cost of 1,818,352.42 euros. At this point, it should be emphasized that the company covers 71.92% of the cost with its own capital, which reflects a classic, traditional financing approach, structured on durability and reliability.
At the same time, the payment of the full amount of the grant of 510,538.68 euros, 28.07% of the subsidized cost, is approved, without the need for a committee opinion, based on article 122 of law 4887.
At the same time, the decision confirms that the conditions for maintaining and enhancing employment are met, with the envisaged jobs remaining at the heart of the planning. The consolidation of the hotel unit was approved, allowing the investment to proceed to a fully organized operational model.
It is worth noting that the completion date of the investment is set for October 6, 2023, while Santorini Secret Dawn is now also operationally included in the map of new luxury accommodations in Santorini.
