Genna Panagopoulos appointed Vice President of Development for Minor Hotels in North America

Genna Panagopoulos, an executive with many years of experience in the international hotel industry, is the new key figure for Minor Hotels in North America, assuming the position of Vice President of Development for North America.

Ms. Panagopoulos’ appointment supports Minor Hotels’ ambitious plan to expand its portfolio to 850 hotels by 2027, strengthening its presence in both mature and emerging markets, including the U.S. and Canada.

With over 14 years of experience in hotel investment and development, Ms. Panagopoulos has built a significant career in brand strategy, business development, and financial management.

Her previous tenure was at IHG, where she played a decisive role in shaping and developing the Luxury & Lifestyle brand, defining strategic positioning and brand expansion throughout the Americas.

Her contributions to brands such as InterContinental, Regent, Kimpton, and Vignette Collection reflect the breadth and depth of her expertise.

At Minor Hotels, she will lead initiatives to secure new franchise and management agreements within Minor Hotels’ diverse brand portfolio. As part of its strategic vision, Minor Hotels is expanding its franchise platform in North America to accelerate growth and provide greater flexibility for hotel owners and developers.

Ms. Panagopoulos will oversee strategic development for the group’s portfolio, which includes well-known brands such as: Anantara Hotels & Resorts, The Wolseley Hotels, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Minor Reserve Collection, NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, nhow Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts, Colbert Collection, NH Hotels & Resorts, and iStay by NH.

Her responsibilities cover all market segments, from urban hotels and resorts to branded residences, ensuring a consistent approach to expansion.
