Hilton and RMKA Private Company announced their collaboration on Sandblu Santorini, marking the long-awaited entry of LXR Hotels & Resorts into Greece. Reopening its doors for the 2026 summer season, Sandblu Santorini joins a curated collection of independent hotels, each with its own character, honoring the timeless pursuit of personal adventure.
This agreement marks a period of dynamic growth for LXR Hotels & Resorts, as the collection approaches 40 properties in operation or development worldwide. Following the recent debut of SAX Paris and with more European destinations on the horizon, the brand continues to create rare spaces for the experienced traveler.
Built on the rocky slopes of southeastern Santorini, Sandblu occupies an elevated position overlooking the Aegean Sea, just minutes from the black sand beach of Kamari. The 66-room and suite resort – 29 of which feature private pools – is characterized by Cycladic architecture with dominant white tones, complemented by striking stone elements and modern textures that reflect light and the volcanic character of the landscape.
Designed to harmoniously connect indoor and outdoor spaces, each room features a private terrace with views of the pool or the Aegean Sea, while nearly one-third of the accommodations offer a private pool. For those seeking moments of privacy, the three villas provide the ideal lodging option.
The resort includes a specially designed beach area equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, wellness services enhancing the stay with two infinity pools, a spa with sauna and indoor pool, a two-story gym, and a serene yoga area for a holistic approach to well-being.
Gastronomy and human connection are at the heart of the resort. Designed by the Rockwell Group, a restaurant and an all-day space invite guests to enjoy a variety of flavors, while a wine bar offers an environment to savor the wines of Santorini.
