Greek Moscow Consulate can issue only 6,500 visas a day, according to a confidential report submitted to the Greek Foreign Ministry and publicized by tourismlobby blogspot:
The publication states that this number is clearly inadequate to cover high season demand from June to September, when visa requirements are more than double.
This is especially true this year when interest in Greece is expected to increase due to developments in Turkey and Egypt.
