Russian Federal Agency for Tourism Rosturizm announced that Greece, Cyprus, Tunisia and Russia are the most sought after destinations by Russian travelers for summer 2016.
According to data for May, interest in Tunisia increased by 78% compared to 2015 while demand for resorts in Russia, Bulgaria, Thailand and Vietnam soared by more than 60%.
Inerest in Cyprus rouglhly doubled while Montenegro also rose by 37%.
The top-10 list based on number of Internet searches include Greece, Cyprus, Tunisia, Russia, Bulgaria, Thailand, Spain, Vietnam, Montenegro and Italy.
