Two charter flights carrying approximately 300 passengers from Moscow and Kiev have been scheduled to land at Aristotelis airport of Kastoria during the 42th Fur Fair that will be held at the Fur Exhibition Centre from May 4 to May 7.
Both aircrafts have been leased by the organisers to bring 174 trade visitors and entrepreneurs from Moscow and 100 from Kiev, Ukraine.
“The Kastoria Fur Fair is a very important economic and trade event for Greece and mostly for the city of Kastoria which will give life and breath to the city and we hope to be very successful”, said the president of the Kastorian Fur Association Yiannis Korentsidis.
The offered pavilions and spaces have been already reserved by 86 exhibitors from Greece and 29 foreign (Turkish, Finnish, Serbian, German, Austrian, Italian, Canadian) businesses involved in the fur industry.
A series of parallel events, as the new designers workshop, workshop for students will be held on the sidelines of the festival. The closing gala which attracts the interest of the media and the fashion experts will be held for the first time in the historic center of Kastoria, the medieval quarter of Doltso.
Economy Minister Dimitris Papadimitriou will inaugurate the Fur Fair.
