Travel expenses for British families will be higher this summer compared to last year, according to a survey by Give as you Live site.
The average British family will spend this year 1,284 pounds per person, compared to 1,074 pounds in 2016.
More than a quarter of Britons (30%) said they would choose vacations in the United Kingdom, while 41% would travel to Europe, compared with 38% last year.
Around 11% will travel to other destinations.
More women (21%) than men (15%) said they would not be taking holidays this summer.
One in five believes that Brexit influenced holiday plans this year, with 10% saying that the EU exit vote makes them want to visit Europe while their country has not left yet.
