Greece and Lebanon to enter deeper cooperation in tourism and the economy

Greece’s Alternate Foreign Minister Giorgos Katrougalos met with Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Saad Hariri as well as the Ministers of Economy, Culture and Tourism during his two day visit to Lebanon.

Katrougalos and his Lebanese counterparts discussed the need for tighter strategic economic cooperation between the two countries, with emphasis on the participation of Greek companies in the Lebanon government’s development programme and the prospects for investment in Greece, as well as the further deepening of bilateral economic relations at all levels.

The Ministers of Tourism, Culture and Economy and Trade in Lebanon also discussed bilateral economic relations, cooperation in the field of tourism, cultural exchanges, bilateral trade, transfer of know-how and strategic cooperation between the two countries with third countries and especially with Cyprus.
