Micro μ, the fastest-growing independent short film festival in Greece, returns for its 8th year. It is a unique festival that takes place in different cities around the country and abroad, on October 13 and 14. The audiences will simultaneously watch the 15 pre-selected films in real time and then will vote for their favourite.
Fifteen Greek films will compete on Saturday, October 13, at the same time in the eleven cities taking part this year in the festival’s network. This year, the first day will conclude with the public’s simultaneous vote.
The audience’s “favorite” film together with the best direction, male and female role awards will be announced on Sunday during an interactive ceremony at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation with live coverage to all the IMMF2018 network cities.
Furthermore, on the second day, 12 short films from France, Denmark, Spain and Egypt will be screened for the first time in Greece.
In the context of a special event dedicated to the environment and titled “Micro M Dresses up in green” special screenings and speeches will take be held with free entrance for the public and access for people with disabilities.
