Greece is a privileged partner of Russia, the Russian ambassador to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, noted in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) released on Sunday.
Chizhov cited the “old friendship relations” and “common chapters of history and intellectual affinities” between the two countries. He even argued “that there are no really insurmountable barriers that would hinder the progress in our relations” adding that “today we are ready to work in all areas, including energy.”
