Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Terens Quick paid a one-day visit to Tunisia at the head of a business mission and held meetings with Tunisian officials, which he described as being of great importance, according to an announcement released by the minister on Tuesday, ANA reporst.
Following the conclusion of his visit to Tunisia, Quick stated: “Tunisia is a country with which we have excellent political and diplomatic relations and great interest in strengthening our economic cooperation on all levels.”
“During my meetings in Tunisia with Alternate Transport Minister Adel Jarboui and with Deputy Foreign Minister Abri Bachtobji, the need for more systematic air and sea links was pointed out.
“The air link between Tunisia and Greece will be launched in early June, with direct flights carried out by Aegean Airlines, while the sea link for the transport of goods is proceeding. We are in contact with two shipping companies.”
