Greek Foreign Minister meets Hungarian counterpart in Athens

Bilateral relations, matters of European interest, and EU enlargement in the Western Balkans were discussed during a meeting on Friday between Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and Hungarian Foreign Minister P?ter Szijj?rt? in Athens, ANA reports.
According to the foreign ministry, they also underlined the need for a de-escalation of the crisis in the Middle East and expressed concern over this spreading to the Red Sea and the impact on shipping, international trade, and the international and European economy.
The two sides also discussed energy cooperation between Greece and Hungary and Greece’s role as a regional hub for energy and energy diversification.
