Greek Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni met on Tuesday with South Korean Ambassador to Greece Ju-seong Lim. During their meeting, they discussed the strengthening of tourism cooperation between the two countries, focusing on the promotion of lesser-known tourist destinations in the Greek region, ANA reports.
Ju-seong Lim pointed out that Greece is a popular destination for South Koreans, who, as he said, travel even during off-peak months. He added that Greece has become particularly well-known and loved through TV shows that have highlighted specific areas of the country.
Kefalogianni and Ambassador Ju-seong Lim emphasized the importance of launching direct flights to strengthen tourism and trade relations.
