With targeted extroversion moves and a strategy for the promotion of Central Macedonia as a four-season destination, the Region participated in three important tourism promotion activities in two markets with increased interest, Poland and Bahrain.
Specifically, Central Macedonia was present at the “Greek Tourism Workshop” in Wroclaw, at the destination presentation event in Warsaw, and at the “Greek Luxury Tourism Workshop” in Manama, Bahrain, reaching both the European audience and the emerging Middle East market.
Strategic opening in Poland
The Region’s presence in Poland was carried out in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, the Halkidiki Tourism Organization, the Pieria Tourism Development and Promotion Organization, and the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau, marking a unified and enhanced tourism promotion.
In Warsaw, forty Polish tour operators participated in the event co-organized with the airline LOT, in view of the launch of direct flights between Warsaw and Thessaloniki, from June 17 to the end of October. In Wroc?aw, the third largest city in the country with growing travel potential, B2B meetings were held with tourism professionals and journalists.
