Journalistic trip to Mykonos of a popular British television channel

From July 5 to 9, a journalistic trip to Mykonos will take place with the support of the Greek Tourism Organization, in which a television crew from the popular British television channel ITV will participate, specifically from the shows “This Morning” (a daily television show that is also broadcast in Ireland via Virgin Media One) and “Loose Women”, (a daily television show).

Specifically, six executives and technicians from the television crew of the British television channel for the two shows will participate.

The two programs include a variety of news about showbiz, fashion, health, lifestyle, food, technology, live telephone interviews, and competitions, with a presentation of various topics from the perspective of women and with parallel interviews with famous guests, while the second one also has a live audience.

Both “This Morning” and “Loose Women” target ABC1-level female viewers aged 30+ and attract over 1 million viewers per day.

Over the three days of live broadcasts, the TV exposure Mykonos will receive as an ideal luxury destination is equivalent to an advertising value of over €750,000 in prime-time TV coverage, with a PR value of over €2,250,000, while the destination will be introduced to over six million consumers in the UK.

The participants in the trip who make up the TV crew are Messrs. Samantha Atherton (Louis Hotels/flamingo- PR Manager), Sam Ronald Nash (Senior Production Co-ordinator ITV), Samuel Morter (Camera Operator ITV), Richard Whitley (Sound Recordist ITV), Natalie Anderson (Presenter ITV), Mariam Hussain and (Senior Producer/ Director ITV). The trip is being carried out with the support of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation’s Office for the United Kingdom and Ireland following the approval of a relevant request by the Secretary General of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation, Mr. Andreas Fiorentino.
