A ceremonial visit to the Heraklion Chamber was made by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Greece, Mr. Muhammad Aftab Aamar Qureshi, who met with Mr. Stavros Stefanakis, member of the Administrative Committee and Head of G.E.M.H. and Business Services of the Heraklion Chamber.
During the meeting, the Pakistani Ambassador showed particular interest in Cretan products, such as Cretan olive oil, which could contribute to the development of closer business relations with his country. Mr. Stefanakis also informed him about the possibility of cooperation with plastic production companies from Heraklion in the construction of artificial reservoirs to address the severe water shortage in Pakistan.
