P.O.T.A.P. promotes “Olympus Riviera” in ScandinaviThe Pieria Tourism Development and Promotion Organization (P.O.T.A.P.), within the framework of its strategy for expanding tourism markets and strengthening international collaborations, participated on Thursday, October 23, in a B2B meeting event with tourism professionals in Copenhagen, together with the Region of Central Macedonia.
The Organization was represented by the member of the Board of Directors and financial manager Mr. Stelios Ouzas, who presented the “Olympus Riviera” destination to tour operators and professionals from Denmark and Scandinavia. During the contacts, he highlighted the advantages of Pieria as a destination that combines mountain and sea, culture, gastronomy and a multitude of experiential experiences throughout the year.
This participation is part of the continuation of the extroversion actions that P.O.T.A.P. has developed, following the organization of the fam trip with Danish tour operators last summer, in collaboration with the E.O.T. Office in Scandinavia. The aim is to strengthen the interest of the Danish market and further promote Pieria as a destination that offers authentic experiences and high-quality tourist services.
This action is part of the overall strategy of P.O.T.A.P. as a Destination Management & Marketing Organization (DMMO), which aims to promote Pieria on the international tourism scene, create strategic partnerships and strengthen the sustainable tourism development of the region.
On the occasion of participating in the Copenhagen event, the Deputy Governor of Pieria, Ms. Sofia Mavridou, stated:
“The participation of the Pierian Tourism Development and Promotion Organization, through our Region, in this targeted action in Denmark, confirms our strategy to strengthen extroversion and attract new markets. Through such initiatives, we highlight the potential of our country and create new cooperative relationships with tourism professionals from Scandinavia, aiming to further develop and promote Pieria as a modern, quality and sustainable destination.”
