Greek Parliament passes bill on development of large freight center in Attica

On Thursday, the Plenary of the Greek Parliament passed the bill on the development of a freight center in the Thriassian Plain, in Attica, ANA reports.

“Greece will finally take advantage of its position as an international center of combined transport,” Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis announced before the voting, also stressing that this project enhances the country’s geopolitical position, attracts new production structures, and builds relations of cooperation and mutual production activities with the Balkan countries.
