Public Properties Company S.A. (ETAD), a subsidiary of the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations (HCAP), announced that, following a decision of its Shareholder’s General Assembly, Mr. Dimitris Politis assumes the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Mr. Ioannis Kostopoulos is appointed as a new member of the Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Theodoros Glavas, whose term has ended.
Following these changes, the ETAD Board of Directors is composed as follows (term until 30/08/2028):

The CEO of ETAD, Ms. Chatzigeorgiou, stated:

The new Chairman of ETAD, Mr. Politis, stated:

Short CV of Dimitris Politis
Dimitris Politis is a senior executive with a long career in the banking and financial sector, specializing in the development and successful completion of strategic investments.
He is a graduate of the American College of Greece and holds an MBA in International Business & Export Management from City University Business School in London. Since 1993, he has held senior positions in international financial institutions, beginning his career at HSBC in Athens and London in the Investment Banking division.
He has served as Head of Credit Commercial de France in Greece, Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking at HSBC Greece, and Head of Wealth Management for UHNWI at Credit Suisse and EFG Bank in Zurich. From 2021 to 2024, he was CEO of HCAP (HRADF), where he advanced the Public Asset Development Program at an accelerated pace.
During his tenure, related revenues exceeded €5.5 billion, with landmark transactions such as the new concession agreement of Attiki Odos, the listing of Athens International Airport “El. Venizelos” on the Athens Stock Exchange, and the disposal of additional shares of Helleniq Energy, representing nearly 45% of HRADF’s total revenues since its establishment.
At the same time, he transformed the Fund into a recognized high-expertise organization and gained recognition as a Center of Excellence for port infrastructure and strategic assets. Today, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Piraeus Port Authority, representing the Hellenic Republic.
Short CV of Ioannis Kostopoulos
Ioannis Kostopoulos is an experienced executive with a long career in the sectors of energy, financial services, consumer goods, and consulting.
He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Athens Stock Exchange Group, Chairman of Austriacard AG in Vienna, and a Non-Executive Board Member of DMEP Holdco Ltd and DMEP (UK) Ltd in London.
In the past, he served as CEO of Hellenic Petroleum Group (2007–2015), where he led a broad transformation program including infrastructure modernization, expansion into renewables, and significant profitability growth.
Previously, as CEO of Petrola SA, he drove the strategy that led to its merger with Hellenic Petroleum, creating one of the largest industrial groups in Southeastern Europe.
He has also held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Diageo/Metaxa, Procter & Gamble, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Booz Allen & Hamilton. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Econometrics from the University of Southampton.
