Alltours: More bookings for Crete, Rhodes, less for Kos

German tour operator Alltours records a mixed picture in bookings for Greece.

As reported at ITB Berlin, bookings increased for Crete and Rhodes, but declined for Kos.

Reservations for the Canary Islands have increased by an impressive 25% and for distant destinations, such as the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Thailand have soared by 50%.

On the contrary, bookings for Turkey, Egypt and Tunisia have slumped.

Demand has shifted largely to destinations in Western Mediterranean, according to Alltours owner Willi Verhuven.
