The latest generation cruise ship “Mein Schiff 5” owned by TUI Cruises sailed into the port of Souda in Chania, Crete on Thursday for the first time.
The 300-metre newbuild vessel brought 2,519 visitors and a crew of 1,022 to Chania, where it will remain until midnight.
The ship’s Greek captain Yiannis Anastasiou received a delegation from the Chania Port Fund and city organisations on board the vessels, expressing satisfaction with the facilities on offer.
