Bookings by Danish tourists for Greece have increased by 20% since last year, according to Spies which is the leading tour operator in Denmark and a part of Thomas Cook Northern Europe.
The operator expects next summer to really be a Greek summer and in recognition to the growing demand for Greece, will offer a new destination, Corfu, which will be served by charter flights from the summer of 2018.
Spies has been offering trips to Corfu for many years, but it is the first time that it introduces it as a destination for holiday packages by programmed flights.
Charter flights will be offered from May to September, departing from Copenhagen to three new destinations, Kalami, Moraitika and Arachavi.
