Tour operator TUI Austria this week announced that Greece topped its reservations list for the recently ended summer season, as well as for 2016, with turnover related to Greece increased by 25 percent in 2017 over the previous year.
TUI, in total, booked Greek holiday packages for 2.5 million tourists in 2017.
According to a top TUI executive during a presentation of results for 2017 and the group’s plans for 2018, the coming year is expected to witness a rise in reservations for Greece, with flights to the country forecast to rise by 20 percent, for instance.
