Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT) has decided to launch a joint advertising program with TUI Group for 2018, as similar initiatives during previous years have paid off.
The campaign’s aim this year is to secure and even increase the number of incoming tourists recorded during 2017.
The program includes actions in target markets that EOT plans to implement during 2018, as these were formulated by the leading German tour operator, following an invitation by Greek authorities to the advantage of Greece’s tourism sector.
The joint program includes a set of actions that vary according to each separate market, depending on the budget available, the specific characteristics of the potential travelers, as well as the means they choose to be informed and book their holidays by.
EOT will provide € 1.8 million while the total cost of the campaign, including TUI’s part, has been estimated to reach € 3 million.
