Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios met with tour operators in London in an effort to fill the gap in this year’s tourist arrivals which will be affected by the war in Ukraine, CNA reports.
Perdios told CNA on Saturday that “we are working based on the worst-case scenario, meaning that arrivals from Russia and Ukraine are expected to be nil this year”.
The goal of the visit is to evaluate and increase the arrival of tourists from Britain which will fill the gap in arrivals and revenues from Russia and Ukraine.
