The new official tourist site for the Region of Eastern Macedonia – Thrace http://www.emtgreece.com/ is online and available to the public. Its domain name was derived from combining the acronyms of Eastern Macedonia Thrace and the country of its origin, Greece.
According to the Region’s official, the new website is modern, pleasant and user friendly with elegant design, rich travel galleries, succinct texts, updated maps and useful tips.
Accessible from PC and mobile
Its search engine facilitates the visitor to easily locate whatever he is interested in, such as local attractions, gastronomy and archaeological treasures, as well as practical information pertaining to them such as map location, distances, operating hours, weather etc.
The site is available in seven languages (Greek, English, German, Russian, Turkish, Bulgarian and Romanian) and is accessible both from PC and from mobile devices (smartphones, tablets).
The site also features the Trip Planner, an continually updated and enriched application enabling each user to plan a journey based on his or hers own interests and print any desired information.
