New data released reveals that #Greece is the most popular hashtag mentioned on Instagram.
The hashtag was used 1.4 million times from May 2018-July 2018, with users wanting to share with their followers the beauty of one of the Best Countries in the World, Greece!
Croatia, an Eastern European country, followed with over 759,000 Instagram mentions. #Croatia has also recorded a substantial 270% increase since the first four months of this year.
Coming in third was Cyprus, which is the third biggest and most populous island in the Mediterranean. #Cyprus was mentioned more than 249,000 times on Instagram, a 77% increase since the beginning three months of 2018.
