The Gov. gr Wallet received the top award from the World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) in Armenia, ANA reports.
At WITSA’s annual conference, the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance was awarded first place for Gov. gr Wallet in the category of “Digital Transformation of the Year” in the public sector. The award was accepted by the General Secretary for Information Systems and Digital Governance Dimosthenis Anagnostopoulos.
Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou highlighted that the successive distinctions for the Secretariat emphasize the team’s methodical efforts to improve citizens’ and businesses’ daily lives through digital means. Regarding the Gov. gr Wallet, he stated that it will be further enhanced, contributing to the goal of an effective digital state.
