Greece’s Ministries of Digital Governance and Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports are implementing the “Digital Citizenship for Children” program as part of the national program for the protection of minors from internet addiction, ANA reports.
This is an educational program consisting of videos, both interactive and animated, digital games, and creative activities for children from 5 to 9 years old. The aim of the program is to support parents by providing the knowledge and skills necessary for children to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
It includes material related to topics such as privacy, data security, online addiction, digital footprint, cyberbullying, fake news, and inappropriate content.
