STAMA – MOBIAK collaboration for fire safety in short-term rental accommodation

The Association of Short-Term Rental Companies (STAMA Greece) announced its collaboration with MOBIAK, the leading Greek company in the field of fire protection, with the aim of ensuring that short-term rental accommodation complies with the new Law 5170/2025, which establishes mandatory safety standards.

This collaboration ensures STAMA members access to certified fire safety solutions, technical guidance and preferential benefits, so that they can effectively meet the new requirements of the law.

“Our collaboration with MOBIAK comes at a critical time, as the new law that will come into effect on 1/10/2025 establishes specific safety and fire protection standards for short-term rental properties. The new regulations require immediate compliance by all accommodation managers and owners, in order to ensure the safety of visitors and avoid fines and sanctions,” STAMA emphasizes.

STAMA President, Nassos Gavalas, stated:

“Visitor safety is non-negotiable. Our collaboration with MOBIAK guarantees that our members will have the support they need to implement the new standards responsibly.”

For his part, MOBIAK CEO, Manolis Svourakis, emphasized:
