The Regional Association of Municipalities of Western Greece promotes the implementation of model tourist packages under the program «ICE -Innovation Culture and Creativity for a New Economy», integrated into the European Territorial Cooperation Initiative between Greece and Italy, co-sponsored by the European Regional Development Fund.
The goal is to create tourist packages that will become a reference point on the following themes:
-The Roads of Water and Nature
-Thermal Sources
-The evolution of the Aitoloakarnanian Confederacy and the Aetolians’ Common through the centuries
-Upgrading the Andravida Horse Riding Show as a local development institution.
-The natural environment and the fish of the Aitoloakarnanian Lagoon in the service of Alternative Tourism and Education
-Creativity, Imagination and Entertainment.
