Sixteen Greek hotels and two Greek companies won significant national and European prizes during the 22nd World Travel Awards, globally acclaimed as the “Oscars of the tourism industry“.
The European Gala Ceremony was followed by an audience of more than 250 industry leaders from across Europe. Following the show, World Travel Awards President Graham Cooke commented, “Congratulations to all our winners here at Forte Village Resort. These are the leaders of our industry here in Europe and it is a pleasure and an honor to recognize their achievements this evening.”
European awards
Elounda Beach Hotel & Villas, Aldemar Royal Mare and Porto Zante Villas & Spa, as well as the HotelBrain hotel management company were honored by European awards.
On a national level, two awards were won by Domes of Elounda and Westin Athens Astir Palace Beach Resort, while a double distinction, both European and national, was attained by Porto Zante Villas & Spa.
