Eurogroup’s President Jeroen Dijsselbloem talked to CNBC and expressed his belief that an agreement on Greek program review is very likely to be achieved soon.
“We are very close (to a deal for reform goals), therefore I do not agree with all this talk about the crisis. If we could focus on where we are and try and achieve an agreement soon, we will have a deal before the summer,” Mr. Dijsselbloem noted.
The head of the Eurogroup added that after the conclusion of the program review “we will come back to the issue of the (Greek) debt and we will see what needs to be done now or later on.”
He added that Europe is ready to discuss with the Greece about the debt stressing that it is very important that IMF participates in the Greek program.
