Visitors to Greek museums in December 2015 grew by a 4.9%, but, revenues from tickets fell 16.9% compared to the same period in 2014, according to data published by Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
Regarding the archaeological sites, ELSTAT announced that the number of visitors increased by 1.7% in December 2015 while revenues dropped by 19.1% in comparison with the corresponding month of 2014.
Between January-December 2015, there was an increase of 6.1% in the number of visitors of museums and an increase of 5% in the respective revenue, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2014.
The number of visitors at archaeological sites, during the twelve-months of 2015 recorded an rise of 3.7% while the respective revenue recorded an increase of by 2.3% in comparison with the corresponding period of 2014.
