European Commission Vice President: Deal with Greece is feasible ‘within weeks’

The Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis expects that an agreement between Greece and its creditors over the bailout program review is feasible “within weeks”.

He told the Wall Street Journal that the Commission has not set any deadlines, further explaining that the point is for the Greek government and its creditors to actually reach an agreement.

According to him there has been progress in the recent talks over the measures that are necessary to achieve the bailout program targets and estimated that an agreement was not far off.
