Greek rail workers announce Easter strike from April 30 to May 2

Employees of the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) have announced a strike in response to the government’s plans to privatize the Greek railway operator TRAINOSE and, consequently, there will be no train services in Greece from from 6 pm of Holy Saturday, April 30, until 10am of Easter Monday, May 2.

OSE trains and the Proastiakos suburban railway will not run as the workers are calling on the government to stop the privatization of TRAINOSE and, furthermore, have asked commuters to support their mobilizations.
