Greece's GDP drops 1.4% in first trimester of 2016

According to seasonally adjusted data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), Greek GDP shrunk by 1.4% in the first 3-monthly period of 2016, compared the respective period in 2015. ELSTAT said the fall of the Greek GDP is marginally off its May projections by 0.1%.

The Greek statistics authority ELSTAT has published its latest provisional figures regarding the country’s gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2016.
