ESM chief: If reforms continue, Greece will tap markets

“We want to help Greece to achieve debt sustainability and have a strong and healthy economy with high growth rates that will enhance employment,” ESM chief Klaus Regling stressed in an interview with Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper on Saturday.

He expressed optimism over the performance of the Greek economy and the conclusion of the third programme and estimated that the country will not go through a fourth programme. He also expressed certainty that if reforms continue in the next fourteen months, Greece will be able to return to the markets.
