Greek merchant shipping fleet rose in numbers in May totaling 1,852 ships, up 0.35 pct compared with the same month last year, after a 0.5 pct increase recorded in the 2016/2015 period, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
The statistics service announced that the capacity of the Greek merchant shipping fleet also grew 0.2 pct in May, compared with May 2016, after a 0.7 pct increase recorded in the 2016/2015 period.
