Hellenic Petroleum Group is in advanced talks with authorities in North Macedonia to resume operating the Thessaloniki-Skopje oil pipeline, the company’s chairman and CEO Efstathios Tsotsoros told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) on Wednesday.
The pipeline is controlled by Vardax, in which Hellenic Petroleum has an 80 pct majority stake while North Macedonia holds the remaining 20 pct, and the plan is to transport diesel oil to the neighbouring country, he said.
