Greek Finance Minister Christos Staikouras met on Monday with Executive Director of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Klaus Regling, who is in Athens to participate in The Economist’s 23rd Roundtable with the Government of Greece, ANA reports.
A Finance Ministry announcement said Staikouras and Regling agreed to continue close and constructive cooperation for the benefit of Greece and its citizens and intensify the effort for European integration.
On Tuesday the Greek Finance Minister will meet with European Commission mission chief Declan Costello, on the sidelines of the Economist’s “Europe: leaving indecisiveness behind?” conference, which takes place on July 16 and 17 in Lagonissi on the Attica coast.
