The Athens International Airport has awarded Turkish Airlines for its impressive growth rate in the last five years during a special ceremony held in the airport area, ANA reports.
According to an announcement issued by Turkish Airlines on Monday, the company – which flies to more countries than any other airline, with 310 destinations in 124 countries – has experienced remarkable growth in Greece, bringing in over half a million passengers for the first time in 2018 and contributing to the rise in passenger traffic in the country.
